there are indeed different sized cases available for the different sized netbooks. if your eee 4g is close in size to the mini, of course a case for it will fit alright... like i said, their sizes are close, but it'd be best if you got one that was designed with the Mini (or a matching sized device) in mind.

The AC Adapter fits fine in the front pocket, although there is no velcro or a snap to keep it closed. The main pocket is zippered and padded to hold the Mini. It fits perfect. almost like it was made for it.
I grabbed the last one yesterday when someone came in and bought one for their Eee!

I cut the handles off and it's perfect.

For all Europe based owners:

I got this one from Hama.

It looks pretty big on this picture, but it fits perfectly.

I'm looking for more of a "messenger case" type of bag. Has anyone seen anything like this? Everything I've found so far is for 15 and 15 inch laptops, much much too big for the 9.

I'm using the older (and a bit smaller) version of this: http://www.thinkgeek.com/brain/where...olding&x=0&y=0

It's a little overkill, but the mini isn't the only thing I'm hauling in it.

I got a Mobile Edge Mini Messenger Bag (part number MEMMSO), black and orange, from Amazon several weeks ago. It was on sale for $32 and free shipping. Just the right size for the Mini, power cord, small umbrella, book, notebook, etc; and still fits under the airline seat. I'm quite pleased with it. Be even more pleased when my Mini arrives!

Case Logic's XNTM-1 Small Black Portable for E-sling looks good for those who need a little more space for accessories. It comes in three sizes, and just made an appearance at Dell WWW site in USA.

Amazon has it. But go to Case Logic Homepage for best pics

No more bags for me until the Dell Mini 9 actually ships
