I'm looking for the ultimate case and while you all seem to have very good cases and suggestions it is very difficult to figure out if YOUR bag will work for ME. I basically need something that will carry everything I cart around with me on a daily basis, but in one bag as opposed to various bags, sleeves, pockets etc. If you read this and think your bag will work, let me know and I'll be grateful. Here's what I'll need it for:

Mini 9 in padded sleeve
Mini 9 power plug
Dell bluetooth mouse
Small Belkin USB hub
Small Belkin surge protector
2.5" portable HDD w/ USB cable
3.5" GPS w/ USB cable
iPhone w/ USB cable and headphones (must be easy to get to)
PSP w/ USB cable
Various small items like flash drives, etc.

God I travel heavy! I'd like most items to be compartmentalized if possible. Let me know your recommendations.

Had the same problem. I have now one hama sleeve (you can buy any sleeve (see my post) that you like - there are bunch of these... and i needed to buy one backpack-found it in IKEA (cannot find it online-but it is in their family shop-at least in Austria)

It is a very good made, big backpack, so if it helps, you should look something like that....

Ebags.com has a great selection of bags with a good variety of styles. As someone who totes a lot of things around daily, bigger is not necessarily better. When you go big, all your stuff just ends up in a jumble at the bottom, which can get very frustrating. I'm a mom with 2 kids and carry around a large tote with smaller cases and sleeves for everything (keeps things neat) but wish there was a bag already compartmentalized. What you need is a bag with flaps and pockets on board to organize everything kinda like this one http://www.ebags.com/case_logic/e_sling ... id=1324915. Good luck.

I just ordered the BuiltNY Hoodie case (for 7"-10" laptops) for my Dell Mini 9...of course, I'm pretty sure the case will beat the Mini to my doorstep! I really like the BuiltNY stuff...it is well made and fairly attractive to boot, which is a plus since, being a girl, I like feminine looking accessories when I can find them. I wanted something that would protect the Mini no matter what bag I carry it in. Best of all? I got it for less than $30 on Amazon. :-)

It doesn't fit the Dell Mini 9. You can't zip it up. I'm taking it back.

I ordered the sleeve from DealExtreme and for some reason t doesn't fit snuggly at all. You can see that it has about1.5" extra. This is supposed to be the 8"/9" one (sku 15379)

Jor, do you remember if the sku for yours is the same as the one I ordered (15379)?
I'll probably end up returning these or reordering.

Right now I am using a "Zeroshock" Sleeve from ELECOM

http://www2.elecom.co.jp/accessory/bag/ ... /index.asp
White as well as the mini

The material inside is almost the same "zeroshock" from Buffalo brand but it seems to me that the Buffalo One is a little more reliable.
