I just order the convertible bag in red ( the black one is out of stock)

I just liked the idea of having a bit more than just a sleeve....

---EDIT 1---
I should be getting my red case tomorrow ( 10-6-2008) I will snap some pics and post them.

menoats - lol. currently i dump mine in accessory pouch for asus 15.4 laptop- admit i'm smudge phobic left the plastic cover on. should have a little more love when i travel with it only - or at least a smaller bag. and u are right gonna get banged up and frayed and used, if it worth a damn and suspect that is a yes. reminds me of my old hp reverse notation calculator, battered and bruised (and dropped out of a two story building, but that is another story) but always useful. usage and wear is not a bad thing. somehow i think smudges and fingerprints are bad .. wear acceptable. just my two cent opinion.

I am usung a Targus portable DVD player case. It's originally built for a 10" portable DVD player but the Mini 9 fits pretty good along with plenty of room for the power cable, headphones, GPS unit and enough room for a mouse when I find one I like.

Mine :
Mini 9 - Black, Dual Boot Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix and WinXP, 2GB RAM, 32GB SSD, 16GB SD, BT, 1.3 MP Webcam
Mini 9 - White, WinXP, 2GB RAM, 16GB SSD, 0.3MP Webcam
Interchangeable - 4GB with Moblin Installed
Interchangeable - 4GB with JoliCloud installed

Here's a Neoprene case for under $5 with shipping.
It's made for the Eee PC but evidently fits the Mini 9 perfectly. There are no zippers to scratch the Mini either. It's black outside and red inside, so it is reversible (like those from Case Logic.) I have a larger version for my Inspiron 8600 and like it. For the price shipped, this is hard to beat.

My Radio Shack has a portable DVD player case that is very slim, although it does have a zipper.
It's under 5 bucks on clearance right now. (the disc sleeve is removable.

That looks awesome a great price. Can you fit the AC Adapter in the side pouch? Thanks for sharing.

I picked it up on the way from work today. It wasn't on clearance, so I had to pay the $9.99, but well worth it. The AC Adapter fits fine in the front pocket, although there is no velcro or a snap to keep it closed. The main pocket is zippered and padded to hold the Mini. It fits perfect. almost like it was made for it.
