Days ago, I went to an accessory store in China, just to get a new router for my office.
And guess what I found? A perfect sleeve for my MINI.

Seriously, guys, I've been looking around for days for a nice bag for my little friend. But failed. And here in China, so many goodies you probably can't imagine.

This totally fake IBM thinkpad sleeve perfectly fit my Mini. It felt nicely made and not low-end looking at all. The best part -- it only cost me 15 RMB! That's 2 USD roughly and I believe the Chinese lady didn't overcharge me because of my hairy arms, lol.

Good for you. I have 3 cases, none of them perfect. The last one, a CaseLogic E-sling Medium, comes the closest for me because it has room for other stuff like my mouse.

I actually found a perfect one at target the other day. It was labeled as being for 7" laptops (i assume based off the original eee 701) but it fits my mini perfectly... buy.com is selling them now in grey.

I read about another person finding a Case Logic case at Wal-Mart. I wasn't sure what it looked like but last night we went to Wal-Mart and after looking around in the portable DVD player my wife found a soft case in several colors that fits just right. The Case Logic wrapper just says 7-9" with a picture. On the back of the cover there is a tag MXDS-9 ASSTD. A link to the product

I have the TIMBUK2 sleeve that Dell sells - the one that has straps that can convert to a backpack (seems rather odd for that). Very nice, and has a separate zippered compartment that holds the power adapter and a mouse.

Target has bags for the Asus EEE's that fit the Mini. I got a blue one for $15. It works well. Little bit snug, but that will loosen up a bit over time. I got it to tide me over until my Timbuktu bag from Dell arrives.

I bought this case from DealExtereme, $5.00 from Hong Kong, good quality neoprene case. free shipping, and fits rather well. It's just the slightest bit loose.

If anyone knows of a good way to shrink Neoprene, you could get an even more snug fit. This forum is inconclusive in suggesting that a washing machine, dryer, or blow dryer may shrink it. http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/17/t1233867-shrink-fit/
