Morning, I recieved the two extras I found I needed for the Mini 9. The cd/dvd drive and the usb modem. I am now trying to install the modem on Ubuntu. I am on a dialup, local isp. I get to the debian folder, following the instructions that came with the modem for Linux. I highlight the folder and click copy, as it says, then it says to paste it. But paste isn't activated. And where would it be pasting anyway? I even opened the folder and tried to do it with just the file 1386 but had the same problem. I'm totally lost. I should have stuck with plug and play rather than trying to learn something new  Thanks, jen |

Maybe try posting in the Ubuntu section. Oh, and poor you for having to put up with dial up! |
