Everything is rated by end-users, so you can get a feel for how well they work. I couldn't recommend BT mouse/keyboard, but I know they'll cost more than otherwise. I use the Microsoft Wireless 3000 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6823109042 ) at home and work and am a big fan of it. One USB connection gives you both, they're comfortable, and they're cheap. As for the DVD drive, couldn't give you a suggestion on a specific drive. I have an external LITEON which has worked well. It is always powered on and I have a long USB cord plugged into it for easy reach whenever I need it. So far so good. Hope this helps. There are a lot of helpful and knowledgeable people on these forums, but we all have different (and many, busy) schedules, so be patient when you ask for a suggestion or help. Good luck. And post back what you buy and how you like it--it'll help the next guy/gal looking for one. Jeff Windows 7 Home Premium |
