Serious question though; I've never applied a skin to my laptops, but are these very hard to apply?

They are not hard to apply, but you have to be careful to get them aligned properly. For the large pieces, it can help to have someone helping you.

Not all designs are available for the Mini 9. I emailed customer service and was told that more designs will be available in couple of weeks. I will wait, because the selection so far does not include the ones I want

Yeah, I think I'll wait as well. I sort of like the W&B fleur design, but the white one is a bit feminine, and I'm looking for a whitish skin since my Mini's white and the skin doesn't go all the way to the border. I would have gotten one from 3ACP because I'd like the bezel to be covered too (which DG doesn't seem to do), but I think I'm better off paying less for something I might potentially not be able to apply properly.

Trying to find a nice professional looking skin for a black mini 9. Couldn't find anything at DG or 3ACP. I saw a picture of a mini 9 where the decal was very subtle and went around the dell logo, I'd like to find something like that.

The decalgirl skins are too flashy for me. I'm looking for something understated and the only ones I would even look at would be the black and the wood finish. The other ones are terribly loud.

I just ordered the camo one, as well. I've got a Skinit.com skin on my XPS M1330, but was disappointed that it didn't come with a wrist-rest piece. Hopefully the Decal Girl one will go on easily, and look great.
