The skins mentioned before on eBay and Amazon are from the seller 3acp. If you go directly to the website www.3acp.com you can order just the top skin for the lid of the Dell Mini. Rather than ordering the complete skin kit at $25 plus $5 shipping, this comes out much cheaper at $12 plus $5 for shipping.

Augh - now you tell me! I ordered the full set but had considered using only the lid skin. Oh well.

Weird assortment of images.

Thinking about getting a skin for the lid of mine. Great info!

I found a discount code for 3acp.com on Retailmenot.com good for 15% orders until November 30th 2008. I checked and it's good.

Enter coupon08 and hit "Apply" and then hit "Add to Cart". Should see a discount of $3.60 for a single full skin order.

Just picked up two skins from 3acp and they are really nice quality and fit is pretty damn close. Tip, They are a lot easier to apply with two people working on it.

I bought one from ACP and to be honest, it's too small for the Dell Mini 9. Perhaps they shipped me the wrong one. But anyway, its short on the vertical by almost an inch or so... not too impressed really.

I've got an awesome gelaskin on my full size laptop, and I would buy one of those in an instant, since they're easier to put on and take off, and they've got an awesome selection (and claim to pay their artists), but they don't have anything for netbooks yet. I may buy a smallish one and trim it manually at some point if they don't come out with something...

Just FYI,

mycokerewards.com has a 1050 point reward, your choice of any skin at skinit.com

that's about 300 bucks worth of coke products, but my family goes though that much pretty quick.

Noob question about skins as I have never used one before.

Can you remove them after a few months use, and if so do they leave any marks/residue?

I expect to sell my Mini9 in a few months time so I want to keep it in its original condition.
