Ordered mine from Stu and had it in about a week. Saturday, Buy.com had a Kingston 8GB Micro SD Card (class 4) for $19 shipped.

Amazed at how tiny it is!!!

Thanks again!

I have noticed the blue LED on the reader actually seems to get hot. I leave the reader plugged in but I eject it in the OS when I don't need to access it. I wonder if there will be software that will let us disable the LED.

If there is one thing the Mini 9 doesn't need is another bright LED.

I think you would have to physically remove/disable the LED with this device. I've often thought about how battery life may be cut down since I leave mine in all the time also...probably not that much but some I'm sure. I like your idea of ejecting, I'm running windows right now I may try that since so far mine is just there for GPS data.

Does this new competitor have the LED light on it as well? Could reduce the battery drain if people are concerned!
