Brando has yet another one in stock in both black and white for only $10 + $3 shipping. This one looks identical to the Buffalo. The name of the company on the reader is Kawau.

Actually which one sticks out of the USB slot the less? Meaning I want one (and several more afterwards) but it is for a Netbook and the lesser it sticks out the better. So what is your suggestion?

That Brando device looks identical in size to the Buffalo. Any smaller and you'd need pliers to remove it from the jack.

And I ordered a few more of the Buffalo readers without the cards and they are due to arrive next week. I hope I don't have a problem selling them now that competition has arrived and readily available. lol!

Got my Buffalo reader from bollywood today and now attempting to install UNR on it. Just the perfect suitable size for netbooks. The weekend is starting out really good and thank you for the fast shipping.

I ordered a couple of the Brando units for my newly born HackBook mini. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I found the elecom one here.
Geek Stuff 4 U - For Geeks By Geeks Elecom microSD card reader

But it is a little pricey. Anyone know somewhere else to get theses? I like the look of this 1 a little better and would like to compare them, but for almost $30 shipped its twice as expensive.

Warning, although the manufacturer is the same and one is black and one is white they aren't the same. The black one is model 266 and looks to me to be junk with a weird hole in the base. The white one is model 268 and looks a lot like the black Buffalo reader I own including the smaller orange triangular eject mechanism in the place the black one just had a hole. Now I'm not sure those are actual Kawau model numbers, but they are large black numbers on the packages
