So for those of you using the Kensington N3 tip with your mini 9, how has the power jack on the mini held up over time? I just picked up my own 9 a few weeks ago and unfortunately found that my N19 tip doesn't fit. I'm thinking about picking up an N3 but just wanted to make sure it's acceptable for occasional use. Basically I just want to use it on the plane when I travel every few months. Thanks.

The N3 tip works. I would hesitate to use it on a regular basis because its length encourages flexing of the connection.

What he said. It sticks out rather far but fits good size-wize. I have it in my computer room where I hardly ever use my mini and when I do it just sits there with no stress at all on the cord. Not at all like I normally use my mini in my living room to surf and check email and I'm moving about and hardly ever have the mini sitting flat but instead I'm holding it in both hands.

Thanks...I just ordered one. It sounds like as long as I use it sparingly and am careful with tugging on it all should be good. I really only need it when I fly, which is only a half dozen or so times a year. Otherwise I just use the original charger.
