Default Can't get Ubuntu as option in Chameleion - 03-06-2011, 03:38 AM

Hi, all. First, thanks to everyone for their contibutions to tis board. I walked into a "dead" 10v for $50 and bought it. One new 320GB hard drive later, I'm the proud papa of a working netbook.

Here's my problem. I had this HD partitioned into 4 partitions, one for OSX, one for WIndows, one for Linux and a fourth that is an extended partition which has a small FAT32 drive and a small swap drive.

I have installed all three os systems.

Chameleion works, but upon tapping a button, I only see OSX and Windows 7.

What must I do to get the Ubuntu install to appear?

(and I know about sudo grub, and those steps. But I get command not found...)

Help??

Michael

Found out my error. Had UNR installed on a logical drive in an extended partition. That's a nono.

Got rid of the extended partition and just installed it to the new partition.
