Advanced 2: Multi-Boot Configuration | Guides | OS X | mechdrew Unfortunately when i try the first one i cant install snow leopard and on the second i get an xp blue screen (0x861cb030, 0x000014f, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) unmauntable boot volume. I can dualboot with ubuntu using the second method. How can i get them to dualboot p.s there is nothing wrong with either os's and both work on their own thanks, fin imac 4gb ram 3.2ghz i3 cpu mac os x 10.6.5 500gb hdd bootcamp -xp pro |

I've written my own guide based precisely on XP/ SL 10.6.3 (screenshots included)-- there's two different methods detailed here: Start with Windows, Add OS X- Guide to Dual Boot. You can make a back up of your existing SL install and follow the main section. Or since you have a Mac, scroll down to the Alternate method if you're starting from scratch. Either way, you have to wipe your mini's drive and install XP to it first. cheers. note: I've only tested the alternate method using SL 10.6.3 install media. so if yours is older than that, you may want to stick to the main method. / SL 10.6.6 NBI 0.8.4 Special/ Linux Mint |Please use my Dropbox Invite link: http://db.tt/4z2wwup | ||
