Post Linux Install Wipes Out Windows - 12-20-2010, 08:06 AM

Hey,
I am trying to dual boot my computer and have Mac and Windows running. However I want Ubuntu 10.10 as well. When I install it, Windows has the bxc00000000e error. As I stated in a previous thread, I can't reactivate the Windows partition via Diskpart because it says "This is not of a GPT partition". What am I doing wrong? Is there any alternative or way to fix this?

from the terminal in ubuntu, run this
sudo apt-get install gptsync
sudo gptsync

that'll fix your mbr, then boot into the windows install and fix with diskpart.
