Well I now have a very nice triple boot setup on my 10v. 10.6.5, Win7 and Ubuntu 10.10. All I would like to do now is change the word Linux in the chameleon boot loader choices screen. I have labeled the Ubuntu partition using its disk utility (which screwed up the mbr) that made no difference. I have tried adding to com.apple.Boot.plist <key>Rename Partition</key> <string>hd(0,4) Ubuntu</string> I have also tried using prefpane to change it but as soon as I enter hd(0,4) Ubuntu it disappears. I know this doesn't really matter but it would just finish the job off. Any ideas? Mike A06 OSX10.6.8 Win7 Ubuntu 11.10 |
