Okay, so quick history of my dell mini10v, a06.
Bought this a few months ago. Installed snow leopard, updated to 10.6.3, no issues. When I set it up, I left a 20gb partition for W7, with plans to add it once I got a windows 7 disc.
A week or so ago I finally got it. I installed windows 7 and got it running. Once I got that going, I obviously had to set it up so I could choose which one I wanted to boot at start up, so I had to make a new SL USB and do all those steps.
Well, Using the same USB, same disc, same intel computer and same version of netbookbootmaker (0.8.3) and now it won't boot off the USB. I have everything set correct in BIOS, when I hit F12 and boot from USB, it cuts to the black screen with the rotating deal in the upper left corner and hangs on : or / and just sits there. I've tried every combination of options when I partition/setup the USB as well as every combination in BIOS, just in case I missed something.
I'm willing to start from scratch, but I'm not sure how to start if I can't boot this SL USB.


EDIT: I was able to boot into windows 7 and I went into cmd and set the OS X partition as active. Now neither partition will boot. I'm currently trying to locate a new SL disc to make a new image from...

okay, completely new disc, different computer and it's still doing the same thing. Can anyone suggest how to wipe the hard drive because I'm thinking something else is messed up at this point. I have limited access to a windows 7 machine, but basically only have an intel macbook and my PPC powermac. Any advice or suggestions?

Alright, wasn't getting much from anyone, so I went ahead and pulled the HD. Stuck it in a 3.5" SATA enclosure and did a reformat in OS X. Put it all back together and it's now booting form the USB to the welcome screen for OS X. I'll be starting over obviously and will follow the dual boot steps to a T and hope it works a little better this time.
