Default Can't boot ANY OSX Image on Mini - 06-21-2010, 03:36 AM

Hello all,

Ok so I had Snow Leopard 10.6.3 installed on the Mini just fine from the guy I bought it from. Worked great. I then added Windows 7 with no issues. Bootable USB worked fine for that and still boots Windows via USB if need be.

Now for some reason I can't boot any SL images via USB on my Mini. I have verified the images boot fine on my other IMACS, so the images and drives are fine. If I use DISKPART and make the SL partition active I get the blinking cursor. And since I can't gt anything SL related to boot, I'm a little miffed.

Second, for the life of me I can't get the NetBoot Installer and other apps to actually run on any of my machines running Leopard. It says "it won't run because the architecture isn't supported". So even if I figured out the above problem, if I can't unzip and run Netboot Installer and Bootmaker, I'm still in a bad spot.

Default Well I figured it out... - 06-21-2010, 06:34 AM

So the USB boot issue was solved by making a NBI 0.8.4 USB image in Windows.

The Netboot not running issue was fixed by running it in Snow Leopard. No other Intel machine I had running Leopard would work.

Hope this helps!
