You are correct. ONE partition and install OSX onto it. Once successfully installed, THEN go into DISK UTIL and hit the + sign and and create the WIN7 partition.
Any other questions, post or PM...... I'd be happy to help.

EDIT: I am now able to dual boot by pressing any key when the OSX partition timer comes up. If I don't press anything, all I see is the OSX partition. Any way for it to default to the toggle screen without the timer? Thanks.
ORIGINAL POST: Followed these instructions exactly but after running Chameleon at the end, I can't get it to take, and it just boots directly into OSX. If I leave the install USB attached, I can get to the boot menu and both OSX and WIN7 will load properly when selected. Without the USB, it just goes straight to OSX. Any ideas?
I am getting the gray screen on boot which shows just the OSX partition and the countdown until it loads. Just can't get it to display the WIN7 partition as a boot option.
Thanks for any help.

Well, it didn't work for me... - 07-05-2010, 11:44 PM
I'm running 10.6.4 and followed it, as you said. The only way for me to dual boot with Cam active is with the USB stick, otherwise, it goes immediately into an OSX icon that is "deflating," the bar goes from right to left, instead of left to right, as if it was loading something.
PLEASE HELP! SO CLOSE?!

windows error - 07-06-2010, 11:45 PM
I get a error:
I have been trying to install Windows 7 Home Edition x86 several times, and always encounter the same problem.
I downloaded Windows 7 and then copied all files to a recently reformatted 4Gb USB stick. I know the ISO is not corrupted as I have used it before. I have also tried my ISO for Windows 7 Ultimate, again no luck.
Then I changed the BIOS settings on my computer to boot from the USB drive, and it boots and then starts. When i press on the Install button however, it says its starting the install but then quickly and the following message appears;
"A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now.
Note: If the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step."
The message also allows me to browse for said missing drivers, but i cant find any drivers anywhere.
I would appreciate any help, thanks in advance
