Default Installing XP with SL/Ubuntu currently installed? (fixed) - 05-20-2010, 11:17 PM

I currently have SL and Ubuntu running on my dell mini 10v. I would like to add Windows XP to my system too, but I'm having some trouble. I made an XPinstall usb drive using winsetupfromusb. I then added an FAT32 partition to my hard drive. I'm having trouble installing XP onto the partition however. When I select to install XP, I cannot see the FAT32 partition that I created. The only partition that shows up in setup is my entire hard drive, and to install XP, I have to reformat the hard drive. Is there a way to install XP without reformatting the hard drive?

My current hard drive setup is:
sda1: EFI partition
sda2: OSX
sda3: Unknown
sda4: Ubuntu
sda5: Linux Swap
sda6: FAT32 <-- Where I'm trying to install XP

Update:ended backing up the OSX partition and reformatted, as it seemed easier to do so. Everything works now.
