Replaced Chameleon with Grub...Help. - 05-19-2010, 05:28 PM
I installed UNR 10.04 last night and let Grub write over chameleon (or at least install on the same place.) UNR now works but Grub will not load OSX. It sees it, but it will not load when selected, no error message, it just restarts after a few seconds.
I've tried to move Grub using this method: Booting Ubuntu With The Chameleon Bootloader|Daily Blogged
But haven't gotten any love. At this point I'm thinking the best bet would be to overwrite GRUB with Chameleon so I have OSX back working and then install UNR correctly. Anyone have any advice on how to proceed?
I don't have a USB larger then 2 gb right now, so if anyone can point me in the direction of a stripped down recovery USB I'd appreciate it. Right now I have access to Linux and windows XP, no OSX.
CN: Idiot installed Grub over Chameleon and needs help.
