It has been a while, but that sounds like what mine did before I did the patch. If you mess up, the worst that can happen is an unbootable system. You should be able to fix it by re-installing Chameleon via a bootable NBI image. To be safe, make a copy of your MBR (first 512 bytes of the HDD) before making the change. The one byte that needs to be changed is in the MBR (which where Chameleon's boot0 file is written), so don't mess with anything else. Remember that after you make the change, you will still have to set the Windows partition active for hibernate to work. If you don't, you will just be in the same boat you are in now--no ill effect, other than hibernate won't work.
