Default disk sharing? - 04-03-2010, 12:36 AM

What do people who dual-boot do to share data among the partitions? Right now I have three partitions on my hard disk:

MacOS X, Windows7 and a Data partition. The OS partitions are small (20G or so) and the data partition takes up most of the disk. I'd like to share the data between the two OS's so that moving things back and forth are easy.

It appears that I can find tools to mount the HFS+ partition in windows, but writing to it is not supported

I can also mount an NTFS partition in Mac, but writing to it is also not supported

I could format the whole thing FAT32 I guess, but that has its (FAT) limitations.

has anyone found a good solution to this?

on the windows side, macdrive is a nice tool to get full access to your HFS+

on the osx side tuxera-ntfs(payversion) ntfs-3g(freeware) will be your friend
