I have a RunCore 64gb SSD
card for my Mini 9. I have followed the various guides to set up a dual boot for Windows 7 and Snow Leopard.
I have set up the SSD
card for two partitions 36gb for SN and 18 for Win7. I used the Mac to set up the partitions. For the Windows 7 you have to use "MS-DOS Fat" (Fat32) that is permitted in Mac OSX. This creates a problem in that Windows 7 requires the format to be NTFS.
I have tried several attempts to have the Win 7 Install disk reformat the partition of the SSD
card (installed in my Dell) and it will not format that partition. It gives an error: "Fail to format the selected partition [Error: 0x80070057].
Does anyone have a work around to this problem? Thanks. --Chuck
