Default OS X SL 10.6 Update to 10.6.2 - 03-17-2010, 07:27 AM

I have OS X SL, which I purchased, running great on my Dell Mini. Is it NOT safe to update SL 10.6 to 10.6.2? I have read that the update may disable the ability to run OS X SL on your Dell Mini.

Your post really doesn't pertain to dual booting and, thus, belongs here: Mac OS X - Dell Mini 10v Mac OS X Discussion at MyDellMini

That said, a search there would reveal that this issue has been covered many, many times already. For example: 10.6.2 update. The bottom line is that as long as you follow the proper procedure (see that thread and others), it is safe to update to 10.6.2.

My apologies for posting in the the wrong section. Thanks again. Great forum/website. Keep up the excellent work.
