I just installed XP on my SL system, and it's dual booting nicely with Chameleon. But when I tried to update XP to Service Pack 3, I can't install it. First it gave me a disk space error, which I fixed with a registry tweak, telling it that the BootDir was C:\, but now it can't copy the file osloader.ntd. Googling reveals that this is common on Bootcamped real Macs, and can be fixed by disabling the applemnt.sys that allows Windows to see the OSX drive.
But this is a Dell Mini 10v, so it doesn't have bootcamp, and isn't mounting the OSX partition. Disk Management sees it as a healthy (System) partition, but can't mount it, so I don't know what the problem is.
Any advice?
Thanks
