I've left myriad requests here, but maybe I'm not titling the threads properly. So I'll try again. I have two partitions on a 64gb SSD, but I realized I left too little wiggle room for my Windows partition. I'd like to claim some of the free space I have in my SL partition for Win7. Is it possible to resize without having to do a complete reinstall? I saw the suggestion to use a program called Camptune, but no one explains how to boot into it (it burns a LINUX CD which you have to boot into in order to make it work). Thanks, all! |

UPDATE - (facepalm) Okay, Toonvox...always remember to ENABLE LEGACY USB SUPPORT when you do this! That's why CampTune wasn't booting. It dawned on me when I tried booting into Ubuntu 9.10. So I tried CampTune. It resized the OSX partition beautifully, but the Windows partition went bye-bye. I'm reinstalling Win7 into the new dead space. Whatever I did wrong, I'm glad it saved the SL side. Thanks! | |
