| Expert Member Posts: 559 Join Date: Dec 2009 | Sounds like somehow the icons lost their background transparency when you saved them. Open them up and see if they have a white instead of transparent (usually shows as a checkerboard pattern) background. |

I'd test it but I don't want to ruin the boot due to a faulty graphic, much as I doubt that would happen, but then if you really can just edit them yourself then surely they can just be easily customised. Meklort's trackpad driver saved my sanity |
