Thanks for all the great info on this site. I am really really pleased that after doing a hell of a lot of reading i now have 10.6.2 installed on my 160GB 10V.
I got a bit confused initially and created a usb SL install and formatted the drive for OSX.
I would now like the choice to boot between OSX (default ) and XP.
I obviously have the OEM disk that came with the 10V and i still have the SL usb key.
Is it a case of using disk utility to create another partition in fat. Then running the XP disk, installing to the FAT partition then booting in to OSX and running NBI so that chamelon will see the FAT partition for a choice at boot ?
I have borrowed a usb DVD drive for the XP disks but i dont have a big external for a SL image only a 4GB.
My main PC is a macmini if anything needs to be formatted.
Please go easy on me , i have done my research but im finding the dual boot quite difficult.
