| Guru Posts: 1,993 Join Date: Apr 2009 | The service manual for the Zino describes the procedure for removing and adding a WiFi card. The words and pictures suggest that it takes a standard half-height Mini PCIe card, like many new laptops. But it's possible your Zino is missing the slot and/or antenna wires. It's easy to add antenna wires, but if the slot is missing, that's harder to fix. I'd pop the case open to see what's there before you go buying a card. | Member Posts: 45 Join Date: May 2009 | I have a Zino that did not come with the wireless option, but the slot is there. There are no antenna wires inside the case without the option. There are two separate pieces (silver brackets in picture) that need to be added for the antenna. It is a half-height card slot and it is on the bottom of the case under the hard drive. The top piece needs to come off as well as the hard drive to get to the slot. |

| Member Posts: 45 Join Date: May 2009 | As WolfKeeper stated, those are the antennas. I have 2 Zino's, one with wi-fi and one without. I have not purchased anything for the one without. If you need a part number let me know and I will see if there is anything on the antenna pieces. |
