I managed to get a 200 page instruction manual off the Net, but can't recall where from on the Net.
The publication I printed was the "Dell Streak User's Manual" It is for the device, rather than any particular software version.
I gather the camera had better functionality on version 1.6 than 2.2, and it annoys me a bit that as far as I know, the camera can't fill the whole screen with a photo, but 1.6 may have.
Anyhow, despite my camera audibly "hooting" whenever I take a photo (for whatever reason), I ignore it and it still takes very good photos. Perhaps I should read the 200 page User's Manual to find out about hooting signals.
Be a bit wary of all those Apps. for "photography", they might
upset original camera settings. Some are uncertain as to whether their phone's camera takes photos as clearly as it did, before downloading those type of Apps.
