well, i cracked my lcd about a month and a half ago and took i to bestbuy since i hd service through geek squad, big mistake. i went up there a few times for a status update and they had one email- phone recieved parts ordered. i though ok cool it will be fixed and everything will be fine. so i went back a couple of weeks later, no update same status. so i went back on the ETA date and they had no idea where my phone is,i am livid at this point. i call the bestbuy corporate office and have 5 people including manager, supervisors, and customer relations trying to find my phone, nope cant find it. so they tell me they are going to start an escalation process to "junk" my phone and get me a new one. why the process im right here and no one from your company knows where my phone is give me a new one now, nope i have to wait. so i get the call2 days ago that the escalation is complete and i can go pick up my new phone. alright finally some progress, nope bestbuy doenst carry the streak any longer even though they are listed on their website for 49.99 but i can feel free to find a phone that i like to swap it out with but i have a 499.00 limit. nothing they carry for under 599.00 is in the same bracket and nothing above it is as coll as the streak to me. so they say how about an iphone4? i told them to shove their iphone i want my white streak back. so back to conumer relations and more managers. i got a call last night they are shipping me a white streak that i should have on monday or tues at the lates.
long story short do not waste your money on the geek squad protection it is a joke, i will never take anything to bestbuy to be serviced again. sorry for the rant i needed to vent
