I'm trying to connect to the Parrot AR Drone(Someone recently released an Android app to pilot it) and the drone itself uses Ad-Hoc. I did some poking around and I was able to actually show the network in the WiFi Manager(As you know, stock Android WiFi manager doesn't show ad-hoc networks). However, when I try to connect to the network, it hangs at Obtaining IP address and eventually fails to connecting. Has anyone been successful to connecting the Streak to an Ad-hoc network? If so, I would appreciate you listing the steps you took to do it. Thanks!

P.S: I'm running DJ Steve Froyo 1.5.1 if that helps.

I would suggest that it fails at that point because there is no DHCP server to service the request for an IP address. It might work if you set static IP addresses.
