Default Chargin the Streaks Battery - 10-24-2010, 07:45 PM

kind of a dumb Q but even then..

I am getting my streak tomo...just wanted to know about for how long the battery should be charged...should it be overnight(like 8-9 hours) or should I make sure its only kept plugged till it completes charging...

i once had a nokia 5700, and screwed its battery up because of over charging etc...

is there anything specific that I should be aware of??

I usually put mine on to charge for about 40 mins every day or 2.

I think overcharging may indeed damage the battery.

Is there a light at the end of the tunnel ...

Or is it just the front of an approaching train!!!

I keep mine plugged in during the day while I'm at work (HDMI dock!), have had no apparent problems with 'over-charging'

Please do not send me support requests via PM.

I plug mine in over night and use it as my wake-up alarm.

No probs.

I also use the car charger when going any distance in the car.

Yeah, these li-po batteries should be fine with anytime charging, don't need to wait until totally dead etc. - just charge as and when needed. And can leave plugged in as long as you need. (I do mine overnight)

Use a battery saving app from app store their free. first day everything was running I got about 9 hours of juice after a overnight charge. Today I got about 14 hours with the battery saver app.
