Well... overall I am very happy with 2.1. My Streak feels like a phone now rather than a smart looking primitive device.

The first-thing I noticed was - signal - my streak is now holding on to "H" like a bulldog.

However, it seems that bits and pieces are missing -

Front facing cam
Larger facebook widget
and I'm very concern with battery life - I did not add any new apps after upgrading to 2.1 but bat: seems to go down very fast.

I am really not keen on the lack of 'move to folder' in the new 2.1 email client either. I have also found the touch screen to be very sensitive so I get a lot of 'select' when I try and scroll - seems like more than I did on 1.6. In fact, I found 1.6 to be fine really. I am not a big user of games and the 1.6 interface seemed to do the job for me. I don't like the wasted space between icons much. I have not really noticed a major change to the "H" but my wifi does seem weaker now?!? I am seriously wondering how hard it would be to roll it all back to 1.6 and wait until O2 sort the 2.1 fully, or better still just wait for 2.2.

Yes I'm with you with few things, but noo way I will go back to 1.6. Streak is truly a phone now, so fast, so stable, now I'm loving this than ever before.

I appreciate if anyone out there could advise me on these issues
(1) can't play wm video files - used to just click and watch wm files from web but can't do that anyanymore

(2) lager fb widget - current one can only see one persons status

(1) Neither can I. I downloaded rockplayer which does the job, but it does suck that the native player wont! I don't have a dock, but I imagine those of use who do and wanted to watch WMV files on their TV will be mighty pissed off that the default player no longer supports them and the dock wont play from any other player!!

(2) I don't know how to get the old facebook widget back, but I use Pure Messenger Widget which is a bit like (a lot like) the friendsteam widget in HTC sense, which combines Texts, Emails, Tweets, Facebook updates etc... You can disable Texts, Emails and Tweets, have only facebook upadates, and set it to launch the facebook app when you tap an update. It also show wall posts and inbox messages which I don't think the dell one did(?)

You can also set the widget to various sizes and use multiple widgets with different settings, say if you want a separate twitter feed. It's a very good app.

Now... it may sound like I am singing it's praises and encouraging you to buy it (which you can if you want to) but my dealings with the developer of the app have convinced me the guy is an arse who doesn't give a damn about his customers and I've vowed never to buy from him again, so I'd just mention in passing that you could possibly google the app and download it for free... you know... just saying
