Default Dell Streak Android 2.1 Download Links - 08-13-2010, 10:59 AM

The Dell Streak Android 2.1 update has been sited here: Dell Streak updates

Please note, this is the leaked 2.1 update, not the Official O2 one, although arguably this one is better

Download link: (Click or scan)
Scan this code with your smartphone

Mediafire Mirror: http://www.mediafire.com/?bb9cvm5uaap2z8k

This update is for Streaks with the baseband ending in "21", notably those bought in the UK from O2.

This update WILL wipe your device!

The easiest way to update your Streak would be to visit the aforementioned links on your Streak and install them as a usual update, the only thing is that the download main be painfully slow.

You can also download the file on your computer, rename it to Update.pkg, put it in the root of your SD card and reboot your Streak while holding both buttons on the volume rocker.

Coolio! Shame I am "at work" and can't do a full backup before trying this. Want to play now!

Put it somewhere on a filehoster (rapidshare, etc) so it does not waste MydellMinis bandwidth...

Guys need further advice as I am not as adventurous as some of you are.

This is what I did,

(1) Pressed menu button
(2) Then settings
(3) Went down to “about device”
(4) Then system update
(5) Then came browser
(6) And it says “YOUR DEVICE IS UP TO Date”

and my baseband says: GAUSB1A.....21-EU
So, what should I do now ?

It's not officially released yet so we have to manually install the update, visit the links above on your Streak to start the download process (it's sloowwww)
