Cool Are Dell restricting where I can visit? - 07-09-2010, 05:24 PM

Is this just me or what?

I feel when browsing like someone who's just bought a brand new car but the car will only allow visits to the "nice" parts of town.
If I try a different address sometimes that helps, but not generally. Apparently there used to be a switch to obtain passage way to the "not so nice" parts of town.

If anyone knows addresses or how to unlock the switches to allow my car drivers and I access to all the country It would be appreciated

Hi Freyne

Is this a cryptic puzzle ?

I'm as confused aswell !!

Are you trying to find some porn or something and your saying your Dell Streak won't let you search for it ?

If so, my Dell Streak will let me view anything I search for, well apart from one thing, everytime I search for "Iphone 4" the Dell shows me a message saying "unathorised command, what do you want to look at that Sh*t for".

LMFAO

Kind Regards
Jas...

I think whats trying to be said (rather badly. I bet you're British) is that its harder to get to adult pages /Hacking compared to say a PC and you're wondering if anyone could give you some driving lessons"?

If your from the Uk and use O2 then you may be having the same issues that i had when trying to access any site O2 deemed "Adult".

To take the restriction off you can login to your o2 account online and put in your credit card details to prove your age. If not, you can do what i did, and ring them. The guy on the helpdesk took the restriction straight off as soon as he saw my DOB on my account details.

Which makes me ask the question ??? why was I being restircted access in the first place !!!

Ahh this is a similar thing that Vodafone do. Very frustrating.

Buddy, Streak is a vibrator, wherever you touch it, it vibrates – and if you going to watch some naughty bits on this…. This thing is going to vibrate like mad.

The other day my GF asked, whether I would like to exchange my Streak with her heavily protected shinny iphone 4, now I know the reason. May be she wanted to drive my Streak to some “nice part of the town” and watch some not so nice stuff on the big screen.

Not saying I regularly visit adult sites, but if you use Opera browser (or any other browser that isn't the default one), you can get bypass that O2 Adult trigger and do not have to use your credit card to verify your age. The O2 adult site flagger seems to be quite...sensitive.
