Does anyone know if the unit is capable of HD output ? seeing as they have equipt the dock with HDMI ...

Pictures taken as the dock was unpacked. (sorry about the lack light, I'll see if I can tidy them and re-upload)

1. Familiar box the design is being used across all the streak accessories
2. Contents: dock, plug in USB power supply with UK and European plugs, USB to mini USB for connection to a PC and USB to small power plug.
3. The dock surprisingly weighty
4. connectors: power, mini USB, standard HDMI and line out stereo to an amp
5. Power adaptor and interchangeable plugs
6. Supplied cables USB A to mini USB and USB A to power plug
7. Streak in the dock
8. Cables in the back of the dock

No issues where the PC is concerned plug in the power and the dock to PC cables, the dock is not seen as a device in it's own right. Place Streak in dock and it connects and starts to charge. Not tried the HDMI or line out yet will report back when I have

Doesn't need the power adaptor when connected to a PC it will draw power from the PC.

The product information leaflet contains no information on the product just the usual safety warnings. Everything you need to know is on the single sheet with the illustrations.

The Streak cannot record HD but can store and replay it HD playback is restricted to 720p only.

How easily does the Streak slip/push on to the dock connector (i.e. easy to get wrong and do damage)?

Bigrob, no pressure required it slipped onto the connector with no problems.

As long as you don't try to push it on when it's not lined up properly I can't see that any damage will occur. The streaks own weight is enough for it to moiunt properly.

I just received my dock. I'm bumming as nothing is showing up when connected to HDMI. I am going to try a different HDMI cable, and will let you know how it goes. mine looks like the pictures posted. There are two back plates, one for the Streak 5 one for the Streak 7. As reported it does slip on, like butter..

Tried with 2nd HDMI cable, and nothing shows on TV, from HDMI, when set to the input for the streak 5. Both cables work with my PS3, Studio 14z, and DVR, so I'm not sure what is going on. Does show as charging, when on dock, so I know there is power. Any suggestions?

4:54AM I noticed many here are having problems with the 2.2.2 upgrade. I have another SD card, so I'm going to try going back to 2.0 to see if it helps.

Okay back to 2.0 and it works! For music you need to tap the HDMI, I'm downloading some 720p video to figure that out next. I'm not sure how to get video up as there is no video button, but that may be due to my not taking any with the videocam. That is the second thing I'll do before reporting back with more 411 on the dock
