Last night I charged the battery to 100%, - I note that when connected to the USB the reading is 90%. Anyhow, it was turned completely off.
I do not use the device as a phone, so it is always switched off unless I want to browse the Net or watch a movie.
This morning I ran a YouTube video on the Emmies (whatever), and the device just turned off half way through.
When turned back on, it suggested the charger should be connected. The battery indicator was red and empty.
Last night I had a look at the contents of the card, and noted to odd files that the system said no application could open/play. So, I removed them.
So this and the discharge might be a coincidence.
It isn't likely there would be some "battery control app" on the card, that I didn't put there, - is there?
Odd thing is, when I did connect the charger, it reckons the battery was 70% full???? It has now reached 100% again.
Before all this, on the weekend, the device would not turn on, and the charger showed no sign of activity either.
I removed the back cover and pressed the battery around for battery contact, and all was fixed, - it started up as usual.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?
I have only had the device about a month.
It never gets hot when charging, but the charger plug gets pretty warm.
