This is my first post and although the phone is fantastic and surprising me and pleasing me more and more i use it - this post is about a problem i'm having!
I plugged the Streak into my work laptop and installed the Dell PC Suite as instructed.
The laptop wanted to reboot so I let it.
When I then went into the Suite - the "Phone Connection Wizard" did not come up and I cannot get the software to acknowledge the phone is attached!?
The works laptop is Windows XP and has Nokia PC Suite installed as part of the image (I am the computer engineer for the site - so know how the laptop was built)
I have at home a self built Windows 7 pc and of course it works ok on there - installed the software and up popped the "Phone Connection Wizard"
Thing is, I want it to sync with my works Outlook like I used to with my iPhone 3G
Has anyone had this problem and know of a solution?
Is Nokia PC Suite causing the issue?
I occasionally get a message box up saying ADEProxy.exe has had a problem and must close - done a search on that and can't find anything linking that to my problem.
I have tried Dell's Support site and even after putting my Service Tag in (Settings/About Device/Status) there is hardly any support for the Streak and you cannot chat with someone about it!!
Hopefully someone sees this and has a solution.
