Well, I want to record calls always wanted to (e.g. when making a contract with the ISP, I want to record their promises, due dates etc).

So, with my new Streak 1.6, I installed AirVoice and Total Recall.

But having no luck calls are not recorded even though I tried both..

Can anyone else run tests? perhaps suggest other apps? this is pretty important functionality to me.

I am beginning to delve into the SIP world, I was told its possible to set up a BPX server to record all calls

If this all works, I will kill 2 birds in one stone: get recordings, AND use data for quality voice (and video) without paying for minutes talking time.

I got SipDroid, and still trying to test, I was told good PBX server to setup would be Asterisk- The Open Source Telephony Projects | Asterisk

I have been using 3CX at home for years. Good feature rich product with an easy interface. Runs on Windows which is also a plus if your Linux isn't up to scratch.

Thats good for PC. what about for Android?

I've never had any luck with call recording apps on any of my phones.

I believe that with Froyo the possibility is decreased further.

I believe the reasoning is that it's wide open to abuse.

Verbal contracts are not worth the paper they are written on!
