well the obvious apps are the live wallpaper downloads..im really intrigued by them...my favourite at the moment is the aquarium one |

Bump. I asked this before after the 2.1 beta, but I gather even more apps will now be available with the inclusion of 'protected apps'... i'm not sure what that means, but more apps is good... Recommend any good new ones? |

Using Galactic Core myself for the moment (it's a downloaded one, not the star galaxy that comes with 2.1), though in all likelihood, I'll have a go at creating my own soon. |

It seems that some apps (weirdly named "protected apps") were restricted by Google to the US market and this caused a lot of stink in Marketplace forums. I used a workaround suggested by Paul O'Brien at Modaco (best site for troubleshooting) & bought them. It seems that Google has opened up all apps finally to android users every where so that with the official 2.1, I could find my purchased "protected apps" in Market even without rooting or the method I used before.
