Default No XP network, sound or video drivers (dual boot) - 01-23-2012, 03:31 AM

Mini 9 clean reinstall (run core failure) dual Snow Leopard - XP. Tried orig Dell Home XP an XP Pro with same results. Dual boot works perfectly, network access etc fine on SL, but fails in XP with diagnostics showing no drivers. Drivers not found by auto search of either CD and cannot access Internet. Any help appreciated.

The mini 9 came with it's own set of drivers that weren't included in the OEM XP package since it came out after Vista.

I remember when they were new people having to contact Dell and get a drivers disc.

You should ask in the Windows Forum. I'm sure someone will be able to help you there.

I removed my OEM SSD with XP about 2 weeks after getting mine and never went back.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Dell has all the XP drivers one might need on its support site.
