OK, I tried to install one more time, and this time it worked - including sleep.
I followed the steps in post #7, but instead of copying the kernel manually, I used the package installer. After that I needed to reboot from the NetbookBootMaker/USB (as I got the spinning wheel forever with the apple icon at boot) and then I ran NetbookInstaller 20100616212351 again. I rebooted again from the hard drive and then tried to sleep the Mini9. It hung up the machine so I hard rebooted and applied the SleepEnabler.kext using Kext Helper b7, and as always it hangs when trying to quit the application. I then forced it to close, rebooted the mini9 and sleep seems to work with no kernel panics so far!
The only problem I have is with the internal Mic. It doesn't seem to work - does anyone have it working?
Also, when I plug in headphones, the external speakers start to hiss. Is this expected? Other than that audio works fine. I have not tried to enable bluetooth yet.
Does anyone know if the built-in mic works with 10.6.7 as I'm willing to go back to that if there are no audio problems?
Thanks for all the tips,
