Default Mac OSX update mistake! - 01-19-2011, 03:30 AM

I'm new to the forum and to my Dell Mini 9. I bought it, then a runcore 32G SSD. Loaded snow leopard and loved it. Then like an idiot hit update and walked away. It wasn't until it was running package scripts that I remembered I was updating from the Mac update. So, now my computer gets to the gray screen with a little computer picture with an X on the screen and that's it. Can it be saved and can it be saved while I'm on the road for 2 weeks.

Thank you for the help.

Sounds like what your seeing is the NBI icon. That's normal behavior after an update and it can take a el while to get through and reboot.

However, if this was an 'accidental' update, you might not have the right NBI anyway.

You need this one:

10v, N80, 1 Gig ram, 160 Gig HD, A06 /Windows XP / SL 10.6.6 NBI 0.8.4 Special/ Linux Mint |
