Default I want advice on Upgrading from MacOS X 10.5.8 to 10.6.4 - 10-21-2010, 01:05 AM

I have a Mini9 running well with MacOS X 10.5.8 that I installed on a RunCore 64Gig. I want to upgrade it to MacOS X 10.6.4 so I can run FaceTime.

I have a MacBook with a DVD Drive and Apple's SnowLeopard installer disk. For some reason the RunCore's USB port isn't working, so I thought I would have my Mini 9 access the DVD Drive on my MacBook to do the upgrade but I thought I would seek some wisdom before I do. You advice would be appreciated.

Dell Mini 9 2Gigs Ram, 64 Gig RunCore, (32G would have probably been enough) .3M Webcam, OS X 10.5.8. NetBookMaker, Amazingly able to run Ivory Grand Piano Virtual Instrument!

I did an upgrade from 10.5.8 to 10.6.0 when it came out last year.

It didn't run properly until I did a fresh install of 10.6.0. It "worked", but there were many problems and issues, so my advice would be to do a fresh install, not an upgrade.

Mini 9 | OS X 10.6.7 | NBI 20100616212351| BIOS 05 | 32 GB Runcore | 2 GIGS RAM
10V | OS X 10.6.7 | NBI 20100616212351 |BIOS 06|160 GB|1 GIG RAM| 6 Cell Dell Battery
Functioning Hibernation

Back up Mini 9| OS X 10.6.7| NBI 20100616212351| BIOS 05 | 32 GB SuperTalent | 2 GIGS RAM
