I have a mini 9, BIOS A04, 32GB Runcore SSD
, was successfully running Mac Leopard 10.5.6. I tried to update to 10.5.8 (no, I didn't use Software Update) and now the thing is hosed--I get hung on a gray screen with parts of the apple visible.
I redid all the steps that I used before, and it won't work. I tried a lot of different options--USB, external DVD, swapped out flash drives, tinkered endlessly with BIOS settings, NBI 0.8.3, DellEFI, everything I could find or think of. Nothing works. SSD
does show up in the BIOS, though.
I'm in graduate school and holding down a job and renovating my house, and I have no more time to devote to this. Does anyone know of an outfit or operator in NYC who would fix this for me? Standard Mac or PC shops won't touch it.
