Talking mini 9 with 3G card -> OSX? - 07-20-2010, 04:34 PM

I want to get a dell mini 9 and install OSX on it.

I have some questions please help!!!!

1. Is OSX compatible with the 3G card that the outside the US mini 9 brings?
2. Is the outside the US card compatible with at&t?
3. Should I buy a dell mini 9 and then install a 3g card myself?
4. Which card should I install that’s compatible with at&t and OSX?

Or should i go with verison?

Any help will be appreciated.

In answer to your questions.

1> yes - the unit is not locked to any carrier
2> again the unit is not locked so I would think it should work fine
3> you can't if the motherboard does not have a WWAN PCIE slot then your effectively dead
4> I have only tried the 5530 card which works fine with OSX 10.6.4 - you will need to download the 5530 script (look under 3G on this forum) once installed your good to go.
