I can't perform a successful install using the NetbookMaker method. I have a retail copy of OSX 10.6, and the latest versions of NetbookMaker and NetbookInstaller. My Mini 9 has 1 gb ram and a 16 gb ssd
. I have tried installing from a flash memory as well as from a usb harddrive. Installing to the ssd
initially seems to be going right. A few of my tries have ended in a crashed install, but even when it goes the whole way through, I get the "operating system not found" error upon restart. Restarting again from the usb disc gives me the option to actually boot from the ssd
, and the funny thing is it loads a partly functional system (no network, wifi, bluetooth and no start disk present) -- and this hold true even if the install did not end properly.
I have no idea how to proceed from here. The ssd
disc seems ok. Should I try an earlier version of NetbookMaker, or upgrade the BIOS from A04?
