But (theres always a but lol) i have no clue how to do it, so i am asking if someone can give me a detailed step by step on how to do it. with the system requirements like memory(ram) sdd size. what i need to do it and where i can get it, and how much it should cost(if possible) and anything else i might need to know. thanks. i know this is allott to ask but everybody (every website and forum have said to ask here, i have been told you guys are the most knowledgeable people around, i hope you guys can help) thanks again.

Welcome to the MyDellMini forum.

I would use the guides found here-
Guides | OS X | mechdrew
They are the best written, most thorough guides I have seen. All the others are poor copies of these guides.

Any and all software required is linked from this site as well.

As for cost, you will need to buy a retail copy of Snow Leopard for $29, plus you will need a couple of USB thumb drives and a little bit of time. That's it.

Just follow the guides exactly and you should be home free.

If you have a USB DVD reader, you can skip the USB drives.

It is intended by Apple to be used as an upgrade. For our purposes here, it's a full copy.

Either version will work. The upgrade version for $29 allows a full install.

Also, Steve is correct, I forgot to mention in my post, you can make a NetBookCD and install from the Snow Leopard disc.

If you have an XBOX 360 add on USB HDDVD drive it will work perfectly.

Best of luck with your install.
