Default Boot from pendrive - 02-23-2010, 01:57 AM

Hi, folks

I have a bootable snow leopard pendrive done with netbookmaker, I was able to use it for the first time to install snow leopard flawless. After that I have updated my dell mini to 10.62 and disabled USB legacy in bios to make sleep work properly.

Everything was until Today, when I tried to boot from the leopard pendrive without any success. I have tried to change the put the SDD in the last position of the boot order and I have also tried to select removable devices in the boot list by pressing 0 at the dell logo screen. Neither of them worked. IĀ“ve also tried to boot from a portable unbuntu pendrive and it didĀ“t work as well.

Does anybody have any clues on this subject ?

My specs:
Dell Mini 9, 16gb SSD, 2gb Ram, Snow Leopard 10.62, Bios A04

You will need to make sure in your bios that USB is active for booting - it seems you may have turned this off which is fine for sleep but you will need to reactivate it to allow the mini to boot from the USB
